Artwork Guidelines

Send artwork that engraves cleanly and looks great on patches. If you don’t have a print-ready file, we’ll help you prepare one.

Preferred File Formats

  • SVG (vector) — best results for crisp engraving (convert text to outlines; expand strokes).
  • Also accepted: PNG (transparent) or JPG — 1000×1000 px+ recommended (minimum 400×400 px, ≥20KB).

Artwork Prep Tips

  • Single-color vector artwork engraves clearest.
  • Minimum stroke ≈ 1pt (0.35mm); minimum text height ≈ 2.5mm.
  • Merge shapes and remove tiny “islands” or noise to avoid fill-in.
  • Avoid gradients, drop shadows, photographs, or glitter/metallic effects (these are print effects, not engraving).

Patch Materials & Colors

Choose from our stocked leatherette and acrylic patch options. Laser engraving produces light or dark contrast depending on the material and color. Availability may vary by season.

Not offered right now: full-color UVDTF printing or embroidery.

Uploading Your Logo

  • Provide a link (Drive/Dropbox) or upload directly via our intake form.
  • Include any placement/size notes (e.g., front patch ~2.5" wide).
  • If your logo needs cleanup or vectorization, we’ll assist and confirm before production.
